Senior Accountant

Description:

A reputable organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate should have solid UAE experience, particularly within the construction or contracting sector, and be capable of managing key accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency.

This role involves handling financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting overall accounting activities such as receivables management, payroll coordination, and financial reporting. The position is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional who can work collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments
• Handle WPS processing and coordinate payroll activities
• Process vendor payments and maintain accurate reconciliation records
• Maintain financial records while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting regulations
• Assist in monthly closing activities, reporting, and audit preparations
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE
• Experience in the contracting or construction industry is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, WPS, and vendor payment processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• UAE driving license is preferred
• Immediate availability is highly desirable
