Senior Accountant

Description:

Green Touch Furniture is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT requirements.

This role requires strong analytical abilities, hands-on accounting expertise, and the capability to handle financial processes efficiently within a structured corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in a timely manner

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT laws

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accuracy

• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes

• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning and analysis

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE

• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and ERP systems

• Good understanding of VAT regulations and UAE financial compliance

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
