Associate Accountant

Description:

A leading real estate organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Associate Accountant to join its Finance Operations and Reporting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accounting professional looking to contribute to a dynamic business environment while gaining exposure to complex financial operations.

The position is offered on a six-month contract with strong potential for permanent employment based on performance and business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess solid accounting expertise, strong analytical abilities, and experience working within multi-entity business structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations across multiple business entities

• Manage intercompany accounting transactions and settlement processes

• Support month-end and quarter-end financial closing activities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments

• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and performance reviews

• Maintain and manage accounting transactions within ERP systems

• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Support financial controls and reporting requirements across the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience

• Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems

• Sound understanding of IFRS standards and accounting principles

• Experience with month-end and financial close processes

• Ability to work effectively within multi-entity group structures
