Empire Global Investment Management LLC is expanding its footprint in the global food trade. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our foodstuff export and import operations, with a strong focus on building and growing international partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for international and regional markets
- Identify and engage with global buyers and suppliers of food products
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of B2B clients and trading partners
- Oversee negotiations, pricing strategies, and contractual agreements
- Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and compliance
- Monitor market trends and generate insights to guide business decisions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in the food import/export industry
- Proven track record in developing international sales channels and closing high-value deals
- Extensive network of contacts across the GCC, Europe, Asia, or Africa
- In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic or additional languages is a plus)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
- Self-driven, with strong commercial acumen and a results-oriented mindset
